A great post about Malaysia.
Before you’d only buy a D-Max for its competitive pricing, its durability, and ruggedness but not anymore. Isuzu has raised their game with the all-new 3rd-generation model launched today that we’re surprised they didn’t give it a new name!
The striking new model will now be available in seven different variants with prices starting from RM88,599 for the single-cab variant, all the way to RM141,938 for the flagship 3.0-litre X-Terrain variant.
There are two engines available; a 1.9-litre engine with 150 hp and 350 Nm, while the 3.0-litre engine has been revised to produce 13 hp and 70 Nm more than before, now at 190 hp and 450 Nm. There are two transmissions available – a 6-speed automatic and a 6-speed manual – with the former reserved for double cab models.
As for the rest of the pick-up, literally everything is new; both on the inside and out! It’s more high tech now too; with features such as walk-away auto lock, remote start, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wipers with integrated nozzles.
On the inside, Isuzu has also given the D-Max a much more modern and luxurious look, with contrasting trims and soft-touch surfaces at the vital touchpoints.
With the load of upgrades, what is the all-new D-Max really like? Join us on our drive to Seremban to find out!
