An interesting post on Penang.

In case you’re wondering, the Jamara Racetrack Edition is named after the Spanish circuit where the GR Supra was first driven by the media, and is limited to just 90 units for the European market.

The commemorative model is finished with Horizon Blue paintwork, 19-inch forged wheels and red Brembo calipers. Inside however, is where the Jarama Racetrack Edition really stands out.

It comes with a carbon fibre dashboard insert with a production number and an outline of the Jamara Circuit. To complement the Horizon Blue paintwork, the black Alcantara seats have been finished with blue stitching.

To recap, the Supra is powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight six engine, paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission, making 340 hp and 500 Nm. 0 to 100 km/h is done in just 4.3 seconds, onward to a top speed of 250 km/h.

However, if you’ve watch our video, where we put the Supra on a dyno to find out its actual performance figures, you’d know the Supra actually makes much more than that. Just how much? Check it out here!

So powerful was the Supra that it even beat its distant cousin, the BMW M2 Competition, in a drag race! Watch it here!
