More than 1,000 Hindu devotees waited eagerly to witness the silver chariot bearing the statue of Lord Muruga. The processions made it’s way from Penang Street in the centre of Georgetown out to the hilltop Nattukottai Chettiar Temple on Waterfall Road, near the Botanical Gardens.
