A great post on Penang Malaysia.

Dessert lovers would be glad to know that there’s a new dessert house at Golden Triangle 2- the new kid on the block just started their business operations few weeks ago and only offers a small menu at the moment. More items will be added at later stage and for now, no main items available. There are a few signature desserts- the Rain Drop series and Mango series are equally popular… with some classic hot desserts that most Malaysians are familiar with. Tang Dian My Sweesert House 糖点 can be found on the 2nd floor of Golden Triangle 2.

Lime with Passion Fruit Jelly (Rm 8)

Signature Rain Drop Cake (Rm 6)

Mango Milk with Sago (Rm 9.90)

The signature Rain Drop Cake was as straight-forward as it seems, there were 2 options- either Kinako or Peanut Powder; we opted for the former. Fortunately, the Kinako Powder was fine enough and the texture was alright. We also tried the Mango Milk with Sago from the Mango series and it was okay… the concoction was pretty direct- a mixture of Milk and Mango. Our favorite of the day was Lime with Passion Fruit Jelly… a little refreshing sour touch with citrusy fragrance, perfect to quell the sultry hot weather.
