A great post about Malaysia.

KUEH by Bibik’s Kitchen along Lebuh Clarke in George Town, Penang is a new hotspot for diners wishing to have a light Nyonya meal. Operated by the team behind Bibik’s Kitchen Nyonya Cuisine in nearby Sri Bahari Road, this smaller Nyonya cafe has a limited menu.

The selection of dishes at this Nyonya cafe includes Nyonya Lam Mee RM6.50 and Kerabu Beehoon RM6. The latter which has spicy beehoon with prawns, tofu, and bunga kantan (ginger torch flower) is given a fresh finish with droplets of calamansi lime juice.

If you are feeling like having something local, the Fried Hokkien Char, Fried Beehoon, and Fried Rice are some of the choices.

The menu also brings a bit of sweetness with serving of house-made Nyonya kueh. You will be able to find your typical pandan angku, purple bingka, pulut inti, kaya kuih and bingka ubi displayed neatly in a glass cabinet.

With prices ranging from RM1.20 to RM1.60 per piece, the great tasting Nyonya kueh is particularly effective in drawing in the crowd.
