Me & U Dessert @ Sunrise Tower, Gurney Drive, Penang.

When Me & U Dessert first launched in late Dec 2019, the dessert parlor caused a stir on social media… due to its non-customary serving method. The new kid on the block pushed the boundary by having the dainty desserts served on a conveyor belt. Pre-made desserts (like Cakes, Macarons etc) are served on colored plates… which determine their prices (either Rm 8 or Rm 10 per plate). Alternatively, diners can also order on the menu, in which they will be served separately. Decent place for dessert lovers but not so much for those who seek for variety.

We were not convinced with the looks of the plates on the conveyor belt so we had ours ordered from the menu. The Lovely Dutch Baby required a 30-minute wait, it was served on cast iron pan. We expected a thin, crepe-like Dutch pancake but the overall texture was not quite like that. It was a little too dry to our liking, the edges were slightly burnt and it just did not give us the satisfaction that we were looking for. Another sweet treat we had was Strawberry Cup, a pretty straight-forward dessert that had fresh Strawberries served in a cup and drizzled with condensed milk, then served with a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream… nothing fancy but we’d love to have some swirls of fresh cream on top.

Of Häagen-Dazs Peanut Butter & Chef Janice Wong

March 20, 2019 By Keith Leave a Comment

Penang Malaysia new & views.

The following post was released by Butterkicap. They never fail to present you with material of the finest quality consequently they are definitely one of my must-follow bloggers. I think you’ll get something out of it.

Ice Cream

Häagen–Dazs is back with their new peanut butter flavour but this time, they are going to up their peanut butter game and put the delish in ‘delicious’ !

The recent launch introduces the rich and delicate taste of what peanut butter could be and possibly, if I may say, the most elegant form of peanut butter I have ever had the pleasure to taste.

What’s In It?

The nutty flavour is deepened with caramelized and salted crunchy Macademia chunks from Argentina and thick swirls of delicious peanut butter from North Carolina, USA.

You can get your hands on their Peanut Butter Crunch which will only be exclusive in Häagen–Dazs shops from now until the 30th of November 2018. Available in retail outlets until December 2018.

Peanut Butter Specialist

Haagen Daz took great care to create their latest nutty flavour. The Peanut Butter Crunch ice cream contains rich and crunchy macadamia nuts. The texture of caramelized nuts offers a stark contrast to the smooth and velvety taste of peanut butter. Brilliant!

On Cloud Nine with Chef Janice Wong

Ice Cream ImagesIn order to elevate its new flavour, Haagen-Dazs collaborated with famous Singaporean dessert Chef Janice Wong. As a result, she created two beautiful recipes; the Cloud Nine and Peanut Butter Swirl Smoothie.

These two delectable desserts are available exclusively in the Häagen–Dazs cafe in Sunway Velocity from 1st of October until 16th of November. Cloud Nine is priced at RM32.90 while the Peanut Butter Swirl is priced at RM19.90.

Think of classic milkshake topped with hot melting fudge. Add a strawberry truffle and it’s a fiesta of flavours that you don’t want to miss!

Peanut Butter It Up!

Don’t just read this guys, treat yourself to some fancy dessert with Häagen–Dazs rendition of classic homey taste with a twist! Check out their website to find out more.
