Probably the only bagel specialist in town, Bagel’s Dream 贝果の梦 started as a home-baker and has been churning out healthy, artisanal Bagels. It has been recently opened up a new shop with a small dining space inside Kim Haus at Campbell Street. The menu is limited, with only a few choices revolve around Bagels (as Sandwich), with takeaways on their home-made Bagels remain available. While we were contented with the quality, we found the serving portion too small to fit for lunch. It might be otherwise for those with smaller appetite.

The Cream Cheese series allows diners to try their Bagels in the simplest and traditional way. We had ours with their Rum and Raisins- the bagel was nicely toasted to a crisp and served with their home-made Rum and Raisins Cream Cheese. The concoction was alright- with a sleek sweetness but the Rum flavor was too mild to fit in this theme. For the bagel sandwiches, we had Smoked Salmon and AvoPes Chic. The former one had thick stacks of Smoked Salmon while the latter one had Chicken pieces spread with Pesto sauce. Both were nicely done with a fair amount of crunchy greens and spot-on seasoning. A pity that the portion was too small for us.
