An informative article about Penang Malaysia.
When it comes to official customisation offerings such as Bentley’s Mulliner and Aston Martin’s Q, you’d usually expect something a little more extravagant, a little more flashy. But weirdly, that was not the case for Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur’s latest work on the 911 GT3 Touring – not that we’re complaining, because this looks ace.
Instead of a flashy paint job, the company opted to go for a more understated stealthy exterior by blacking out everything – including a tinted glass cover over the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) headlights, and a set of Satin Black wheels measuring 20-inches up front and 21-inches at the back.
Porsche did more than just removing the big wing on the 911 GT3 Touring. Learn more about it here!
Not much else has been done to the exterior, but we think that it was the right choice, considering how good this already looks – especially with the wing delete of the GT3 Touring edition, making it the perfect car to fly under the radar doing high speed runs… not that we’re advocating for it.
Inside is where things get a little more interesting, with Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur giving the 911 GT3 Touring a little splash of colour with a two-toned Lipstick Red and black combination upholstery.
Here’s another special Exclusive Manufaktur edition of the 911 GT3 Touring, specifically for Australia
Otherwise, the car is pretty much bog-standard: powering the GT3 Touring is the 4.0-litre flat-six turbocharged engine, good for 510 hp and 470 Nm of torque, which translates to a 0-100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 317 km/h. Buyers can choose between either a dual-clutch PDK or a six-speed manual transmission.
Not a fan of the black paint job? Don’t worry, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur is still a customisation arm afterall, so you can personalise your own car to your heart’s content when you place your order, with something maybe a little more unique like Meissen Blue.
