A really good post on Malaysia.
Craving for something but lazy to cook up a storm? You can have your meals delivered to your doorstep with the tip of your fingers. While we were searching for a solution to satisfy our different cravings, we decided to order in. Fortunately, foodpanda offers such diversity. We were allowed to place multiple different orders at the same time from different places and hence, we got to satisfy ourselves with our own wants.
This post is brought to you by Foodpanda.
Claypot Chicken Rice (Rm 9.80)
Claypot Lou Xu Fen (Rm 9.80)
Both our orders came from different districts- Kai Lou Claypot Rice is a Claypot Chicken Rice specialist in the Bayan Baru district. There are only 2 options available- the Claypot Chicken Rice and Claypot Lou Xu Fen. Both came in generous serving and were decently cooked (the distinctive smokiness was present)- a standard Penang-styled Claypot Chicken Rice.
Curry Mee (Rm 7/ large)
Another order of ours was from Island Park- another district in Penang. Ong Curry Mee has a creamy-milky flavor, the Coconut Milk flavor was bolder than most Penang-style Curry Mee. The soup was nicely seasoned with a hint of sweetness. There were plenty of ingredients as well- Fishballs for instance, were unusual. Another delicious interpretation of the Penang-style White Curry Mee.
