Indian-Style Sweet Desserts

whats-on-penang-indiasweet1Kambli’s Bubur Corner is an Indian-style sweet dessert stall located on Jalan Datuk Koyah, off Penang Road. The menu changes on different days and features a small variety of sweet and delightful desserts.  Customers will be able to enjoy bubur kacang (green beans porridge), bubur gandum (wheat porridge) and bubur pulut hitam (black glutinous rice porridge).

whats-on-penang-indiasweet2The business has been on-going in the same spot for 60 over years and is now run by the third and fourth generation vendors. Bubur kacang is sold on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. On the other hand, the bubur pulut hitam is available on Wednesdays and the bubur gandum on Fridays.
The bubur kacang is creamy, with soft beans. Customers can opt to have the bubur with additional pulut (boiled glutinous rice).
The stall is open between lunch and dinner during the weekdays. It is closed on weekends and public holidays.
