Goodman Group, an industrial development company organised a raffle where those vaccinated by the 31st of August can stand a chance to win up to HK$1 million in prizes, including a Tesla Model 3 worth HK$500,000.

This month alone, Henderson Land Development Company announced that those who have been vaccinated will stand a chance to win gold bars while Sun Hang Kai Properties Ltd is offering iPhones.

Sino Group, a local property and real estate developer said it would offer a HK$1.4 million apartment in the Kwung Tong area as a grand prize for those who have been fully vaccinated, to win.

The total value of prizes from these different campaigns is said to be valued at over HK$120 million according to controversial Hong Kong Chief Executive, Carrie Lam.

The move has proven to be effective almost immediately, with a sharp increase in vaccine bookings last month. So far, only 15% of the country’s 7.5 million citizens have been vaccinated.
